The AusIMM Board is comprised of ten directors and has ultimate accountability to the members for achievement of the AusIMM strategy and objectives. The role of the Board is to provide policies, systems and resources for the proper conduct of the business of the AusIMM. The Board will devote its time to policy implementation and to set and review progress against the Strategic Plan and any other issues raised by the Congress. The AusIMM Board delegates responsibility for the work required to implement its policies and systems to the Chief Executive Officer and relevant Committees, Strategy Groups and Taskforces.

Board Election 2018
There are six
candidates nominated for the three
vacancies on the Board Directors for 2019-2021. The election will commence on Wednesday 29 August and close on Tuesday 16
October. Members eligible to vote
will be sent a ballot by email or post.
